Beef Ribs

Delectable, melt in your mouth Beef Ribs.


Put these ingredients into a food processor and process to an even consistency:

1 large onion coarsely chopped

3 garlic cloves

1 knob ginger, peeled

1 cup water

Scrape into a casserole dish, then add:

1 dessert spoon beef broth powder (or 2 tsp beef stock powder)

1 tbsp date syrup

½ cup white wine

Juice of 1 orange

2 tsp fennel seeds

1kg beef short ribs


Move the ribs around to make sure they are immersed. If required add a bit more water to bring the level of liquid to at least half submerge the ribs.

Bake in the oven for 4-6 hrs at 150C
